For my first learning outcome, I have developed well in my writing. With learning templates and more. Being in a different learning environment for the first time (college) it showed me to expand more with my writing. In high school I was always taught that you cannot express your own opinion, and being able to express my own opinions in my writing has helped me become a better writer. Learning how to write from my own point of view has been a lot easier than writing from someone else’s point of view. It has shown me how to express myself through my writings. When I came into my first college English class I still had the same skills I had from high school, making my writing level look lower than it should have been. When learning how to write better with my voice and my own opinions it has helped me expand with what I want to say in my papers. When writing I tend to run on and on about the same topic, but when being introduced to other topics and being able to bring more than one in at a time it has helped me out quite a bit. Especially when I can use my own thoughts and put them down on paper. With templates being put into play it has also been easier for me to know how to keep my sentence rolling. Without those templates, it’s hard to keep going with my writing because I run out of ideas to write about.
